Dreams

I had a weird dream last night involving some school function, my brother getting a girlfriend, and the Munoz-Ruiz family, the wonderful people that I worked with my very first year in Tijuana. I was running around talking to people about this spirit day activity (or maybe it was elections? Yeah... and each class had to have a ballot matching their class colors, but the sophomores had filled out all the senior ballots as a joke; it was a mess). Nelly (the youngest daughter in the Munoz-Ruiz family) was sitting on my shoulders, and I kept translating everything into Spanish for her and trying to speak in both English and Spanish so she wouldn't feel left out. I was trying to talk in this way to a FR girl- I think it was Michael's new girlfriend- but she couldn't see Nelly or didn't think to look for her on top of my shoulders, so she didn't understand why I was speaking in two languages. Later, Natasha teased me for talking too slowly and said my accent sucked.

You can draw meaning (or lack thereof) from that dream if you wish. I don't know. It was memorable, though. I think I need to stop going to bed feeling guilty about stuff.

In other news, my dad and I had our first real fight this weekend, and I had a run-in with the police. But no worries, dad and I made up, and the police officer let us off. Woot.
